Reservations & Check-In

Q: What are your check-in and check-out times?
A: Check-in begins at 1:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request.

Q: Do I need a reservation to stay?
A: Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are always welcome when sites are available.

A: All RV sites include full hookups with 30/50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, plus access to Wi-Fi and picnic areas.

A: Yes! Our sites are spacious and level, making them perfect for large RVs and fifth-wheels.

Q: Do you have laundry and restrooms on site?
A: Yes, we offer clean restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities for your comfort and convenience.

Q: Do you offer long-term stays?
A: Absolutely, we welcome extended and monthly guests. Call us for current long-term rates and availability.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes! Valley Inn RV Park is pet-friendly. Please keep pets leashed, supervised, and cleaned up after at all times.

Q: Are there quiet hours?
A: Yes, quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, ensuring everyone can enjoy a peaceful night’s rest.

Q: Can I have a campfire or grill?
A: Fire pits and grills are allowed in designated areas. Please follow all fire safety rules and never leave a fire unattended.

Q: Do you offer water fill and dump station services?
A: Yes!

  • Fresh water tank fill: $5.00

  • Dump station: $10.00
    (Free for registered guests staying in the park.)

Q: Do you provide mail service?
A: Yes, mail delivery and pickup are available for long-term guests.

Q: How many vehicles are allowed per site?
A: Each site includes space for one RV and one tow vehicle. Extra parking is available upon request.

Q: Can I have visitors?
A: Visitors are welcome! Please ensure they register at the office and follow park rules.

Krebs Heritage Museum

    Coal mining heritage: The museum showcases early coal mining equipment and highlights the foundational role of mining in Krebs’ development.
  • Local history exhibits: You’ll find displays honoring the contributions of Native Americans, immigrants, and other community members in shaping the region.

  • Military memorabilia: Collections include items related to the military service of local residents, connecting town history with broader national narratives.

  • Deep historical interpretation: The establishment of the museum between 1996 and 1999 was largely driven by community efforts, with Eugene DeFrange playing a key role.

  • Cultural context: The town itself, known as “Little Italy,” reflects a rich tapestry of immigrant cultures—especially Italian—woven through Krebs’ history. The museum captures that unique heritage in its exhibits.

The McAlester Scottish Rite Temple

  • Historic Legacy
    The Temple was originally constructed in 1907, expanded between 1928 and 1930, and stands as the oldest Masonic building in Oklahoma. Its design, credited to architect William T. Schmitt, blends Art Deco and Neoclassical styles, rendered in striking buff brick and stone.

  • Prominent Landmark
    Built atop McAlester’s highest hill, this building reaches 140 feet tall and is crowned with a 30-foot illuminated ball, known among Masons as the “Great Light of Masonry”.

  • A “Million-Dollar Temple”
    Its grandeur earned its early moniker “Million-Dollar Temple”—a reflection of the members’ ambition and pride in Masonry.
